She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Coleman and Gladys Morton Coleman; her husband Tommy Richmond; her grandson Trevante Coleman; and her stepdaughter Teresa McCoy.

She is survived by: her children, Adrean Coleman of South Boston, Virginia, Arleasha Garrett (Jerome) of Thomasville, Anthony Miller, II (Jessica) of Pottstown, Pennsylvania and Ameer Miller of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; her stepchildren, Mildred Clayton, Rodney Richmond, Terry Richmond, Tommy Richmond, Vanessa Newman, Nora Richmond and Gregory Richmond; and her siblings, Mary Betts (Charlie) of Nathalie, Virginia, LaTonda Yancey (Robert) of Chesterville, Alonzo Coleman (Annette) of Chesapeake and Charles Coleman (Wanda) of Nathalie. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty-eight step-grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
