She was predeceased by: her parents, Tilley Wade and Lois Frances Blackwell Davis. She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Wayne Bowen (Jennifer) and Amanda Latta (Chris); her brothers, Ronnie Davis (Candice) and Mike Davis (Barbara); her grandchildren, Taylor Cline (Matt), Melissa Bowen, Cameron Bowen, Kayleigh Shough, Katelynn Shough, Keelan Shough, Kolton Shough, Kahne Shough and Eli Latta; her great grandchild Melody Grace Bowen; her aunts, Joyce Oakley and Margaret Daniel; and her uncle Nelson Blackwell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home, Inc. (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
