She was predeceased by: her parents, James Samuel Saunders and Bessie Jane Carver Saunders; her siblings, Gene "Bear" Raymond Saunders and Eunice Saunders Fogleman; and her son-in-law Frank Culley.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Junior Loftis; her children, Angela Culley of Roxboro, Franklin Loftis (Connie) of Roxboro, Kim Mangum (Dwight) of Martinsville, VA and Micki Couch (Keith) of Roxboro; her sister Erline Johnson of Sanford; her grandchildren, Gabriel Loftis, Chase Loftis (Abbey), Thad Mangum, Jane Mangum (Justin), Brody Couch, Zac Couch and Chastie Blackwelder (David); her great grandchildren, Abel Loftis, Charleigh Kate Loftis and Marcus Blackwelder; and her close friend Faye Carver.
