She is survived by: her children, Shelton O'Briant of Roxboro and Daniel O'Briant (Vanessa) of Gastonia; her grandchildren, Tinishaul O'Briant of Roxboro, Moneisha O'Briant of Roxboro, Tanika Outlaw of Roxboro, Sebastian O'Briant of Gastonia and Shelton O'Briant, Jr. of Roxboro; her siblings, James O'Briant of Roxboro, Stella Carver of Timberlake, Barbara O'Briant of Durham, Carolina, Bessie Rigsbee (Keith) of Burlington, Larry O'Briant of Durham and Jerry O'Briant (Dean) of Seattle, Washington; her siblings-in-law, Betty Bowman of Timberlake, Joyce Wheeler of Timberlake, Josephine Clemons of Timberlake, Myrtle Treadwell of Alabama, Ann Bowman of Roxboro, Sandra Morris of Roxboro and Leon Bowman of Roxboro; her aunt Nancy Edwards of Roxboro; and her close friends, Queenie Mae Street and Dr. Kaye Thompson-Rogers. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services (87 Brookland Church Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573).
