She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder Franshaw and Otelia Green Lawson; her husband Ossie L. Cunningham, Jr.; her daughter Johnsie Collettee Cunningham; and her siblings, Frankie Hinchen, Cleotis Lawson, Sr., Ola Whitt, Johnnie Lawson, Effie Moten and Donnie Lawson.
She is survived by: her daughters, LaRue Phyllis of Winston-Salem and Ossie Prattsie of Durham; her grandchildren, Minister LaDessa Cunningham Pearson of Winston-Salem, Adam L. Cunningham of Orlando and Yared C. Cunningham of Greensboro; and her sisters, Jaynette Lawson-Jordan (Rubin) of Brooklyn, Mazel Winston of Washington, D. C., Lawanda Laventure of Durham, Martha Ann Eubanks of Durham and Vickie Williams of Oxford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
