She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Hamlett and Junious Harris; her husband Joe Pyles; and her son Clarence Hamlett. She is survived by: her sons, Willie C. Hamlett of Pelham, NC, Allen D. Pyles of Milton, NC and Sylvester Pyles of Semora, NC; her stepgrandson Aldwan Scott of Yanceyville, NC; and her siblings, Lou Ella Daye of Roxboro, NC, Florine Harris of Roxboro, NC, Dorothy Green of Durham, NC, Elder John E. Harris (Marcelle) of New Rochelle, NY, John Wayne Harris of Ithaca, NY, Rev. Winfred Harris (Betty) of Bowie, MD, Rev. Flemmie Harris (Beverly) of Spartanburg, SC, Kenneth Harris of Durham, Curtis Harris (Alisa) of Roxboro and Junious Lee Harris (Sally) of Roxboro. She is also survived by other siblings; and other additional relatives and friends.
