He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder J. W. (Jack) and Musette Evans Hawkins; his brothers, Jerry B. Hawkins and Steve Hawkins; and his siblings-in-law, Lucy Hicks Hawkins, Nancy S. Hawkins and Keith Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Annabelle Hawkins (Bebeth); his children, Michelle Foster of Mooresville, Heather Hawkins Noblitt (David) of China Grove, Benjamin J. Hawkins of Mooresville and Drake Hawkins; and his siblings, Randy Hawkins and Joy Mason. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and step grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
