She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Whitt Jr. and Carolyn Gentry Whitt; her husbands, Samuel James Dickerson and Milton Louis Whitfield; and her siblings, Molly Whitt Briggs and John Thomas Whitt III.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Davis, Margie Gentry (Mike Dennis), Jim (Dianne Dickerson), Hal (Johnsie Dickerson), Tab (Patti Dickerson), June (Rodney Rimmer), Angie (Randy Pickens) and Ken Dickerson; her grandchildren, Ben Davis, Renee Barker, Blake Dickerson, Jordan Dickerson and Will Dickerson; her great grandchildren, Radley, Zack, Lily, Madeline, Carson, Collin, Elliot, Cole, Aliza Davis, Allie, Preston, Sam Barker, Samuel, Samantha Dickerson, Graeme and Xander Dickerson; her sisters, Jane Slaughter, Johnsie Woody and Glynda Carver; and her grandsons, Allen Davis, Joey Davis, Kyle Gentry, Adam Dickerson, Jade Dickerson, Holden Rimmer, Cecil Barker Jr. A and Mom.

Due to COVID-19, wearing a mask and social distancing are required.
