He was predeceased by: his father Paul Forton; his siblings, Robert Forton and Annie Forton; and his niece Jessica Chesbro. He is survived by: his wife Jane Forton; his children, Caroline Hart (Kyle Hart) and Chris Forton (Ashley Forton); his mother Maryse Forton Volkaerts; his siblings, Marc Forton (Anne-Catherine), Jean-Paul Forton (Therese) and Francoise Forton (Claude Ronsse); his siblings-in-law, Myriam Forton Beun and Jonathan Mayo (Jacqueline Chesbro); and his grandchildren, Sadie, Cameron and Lucy Hart. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews; and sixteen grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
