With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Reuben Bowes of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 17, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Earl and Mary Elizabeth Allen Bowes; his wife Frances Talley Bowes; and his brothers, Warren Bowes, Edgar Bowes, Edward Bowes and Phillip Bowes.
He is survived by: his children, Carl Bowes (Connie) and Robin B. Pulliam (Kent); his grandchildren, Marc Bowes (Holly), Colonel Shaun Bowes (Krista), Cameron Bowes, Kerri Ottwell (Brian) and Alan Pulliam (Candice); and his great grandchildren, Paige Bowes, Hunter Pulliam, Nataleigh Ottwell, Thomas Bowes, Levi Pulliam, Makenley Ottwell and Dylan Bowes.
