It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Elmo Plott (Roxboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Hester Aaron Plott; his son Richard E. Plott II; and his parents, William Louder Plott and Georgia Suddarth. He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Louise Plott Oakley (Elbert); his grandchildren, Melissa Oakley Ockert (Joe) and Christy Oakley Krug (Dan); and his great grandchildren, Coby Ockert, Emerson Ockert, Addie Krug and Danny Krug.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Butner, NC and Roxboro Baptist Church in Roxboro, NC.
