He was predeceased by: his daughter Marion Harris; and his parents, George, Sr. Harris and Bessie Mae Harris. He is survived by: his son Richard Harris, Jr. of Butner, NC; his grandchildren, Ryland Harris of Rochester, NY, Royal Harris of Rochester, NY, Quwanaisia Myrical Flowers-Harris of Greenville, SC and Akayla Harris of Butner; his great grandchild Malichi Amir Hartsfield of Butner; and his siblings, Rev. Benjamin Harris (Ella) of Albion, NY, Elsie Mangum of Albion, NY, Rev. George Harris, Jr. (Maggie) of Rougemont, NC and Amina Al-Amin of Durham, NC. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
