He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Yancey and Martha Allen Rudder; and his brother Hassell "Pete" Alfred Rudder. He is survived by: his wife Alice Jean Lloyd Rudder; his children, Richard Donald "Donnie" Rudder, Jr. of Timberlake and Dawn Rudder Williams (Mark) of Raleigh; his stepsons, Allen Burton and Thomas Martin (Sherry) of South Boston, VA; his siblings, Melvin "Mac" Rudder (Glenda), Barry Rudder (Faye), Joyce Eakes, Jane Burch (Phillip) and Bonnie Bowes (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Allison Rudder Sigrist (Jimmy), Nathaniel Austin Williams and Audrey Marie Williams; his great grandchild Brayson; and his sister-in-law Margaret Ann Rudder. He is also survived by father and a loving husband, he put his family.
