He was predeceased by: his parents, Zan Epps, Jr. and Louise Rebecca Stuart Epps; and his siblings, Jimmy W. Epps and Helen J. Epps. He is survived by: his wife Emily Stewart Epps; and his siblings, David A. Epps (Lorraine) of Richmond, VA, Ronald K. Epps of Roxboro, NC, Donald B. Epps of Richmond, VA, Julian Michael "Mike" Epps of Mocksville, NC and Janice E. Lewis of Roxboro, NC.
