He was predeceased by: his parents, Rainey Oakley and Elizabeth Harris Oakley; and his wife Marion Ann Holt Oakley. He is survived by: his daughter Lynne Oakley Kirby (Joey) of Roxboro; his grandson Trey Kirby of Roxboro; and his pet Thor Kirby.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Person Memorial Cemetery (3250 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573).
