He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Trotter and Nettie Lou Trotter; and his siblings, Mary Burris, Johnny Trotter, Clifton Trotter, Earlie Trotter and Emory Trotter.
He is survived by: his daughter Charlene Trotter of Durham; his brother Charlie Trotter of Burlington; and his former wife Helen Trotter of Rougemont. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
