He is survived by: his children, Geraldine Betts of Roxboro, Chicqueta Betts Smith of Roxboro and Edward LaDonta Betts (Lanette) of Roxboro; his grandson Antoine Betts of Roxboro; his children, Chanse Betts of Roxboro, Skylar Smith (Kallie) of Danville and Lucas Betts of Roxboro; his granddaughter Victoria Smith Carr (Terrell) of Halifax, Virginia; his great grandchildren, Autumn Serenity Blanchard of Danville, Jayden Blanchard of Danville, Jayla Blanchard of Danville, Jaquan Smith and Trinity Carr of Halifax; his sisters, Janice Johnson of Raleigh and Janet Thompson (Jerry) of Roxboro; his nieces, Cassandra G. Young of Granville County and Marguerite Wright of Roxboro; and his siblings-in-law, Adele Williams of Roxboro, Daphene Bradsher of Durham, Clyde Boykins (Mary) of Richmond, Melvin Norwood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Luke Norwood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Otis Norwood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
