Springfield of Roxboro; his aunt Hazel W. Thomas of Roxboro; his great-nephew Leo C. Bynoe of Chesapeake; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce S. Bailey of Roxboro and Lester Springfield, Jr. (Shirley) of Durham. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, special cousins and friends.
