It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Darall Saunders of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Green Saunders and Helen Pleasant Saunders; and his wife Jessie Frances Hester Saunders. He is survived by: his children, Christian Saunders of Roxboro, Johanna Saunders Wilson (Chris) of Durham and Dr. Stephanie Saunders Linville (Bob) of Roxboro; and his grandchildren, Hester Claire Linville, Robert Franklin "Tres" Linville III, Helen Kathryn Morrill, Avery McCray Howell, Arya Laine Saunders and Caden Alexander Saunders.
