He is survived by: his son Markeiton Pettiford; his siblings, Sammy Winstead, Michael Winstead, Ronnie Winstead, Sr., Della Townes and Shelia Winstead; his siblings-in-law, Juan Garcia and Sharon Winstead; his uncle Jack Winstead (Linda); and his aunts, Nannie Pulliam, Mamie Poole, Betty Jordan (Frank) and Ruth Winstead. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
