She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Rufus Clayton and Opie Duncan Clayton. She is survived by: her sister Dot Clayton Watson (Charles) of Raleigh; and her caregivers, Michaela Huff, Heather Taylor of Roxboro, Melissa Oxendine of Maxton, Victoria Locklear of Pembroke and Pauline Blanks of Red Springs.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Surl Primitive Baptist Church (5411 Birdsong Lane, Timberlake, NC 27583). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
