It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wallace Osborn Clayton of Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Barton Clayton and Lillian Oakley Clayton; his wife Annie Mae Long Clayton; and his siblings, Ivey, Calvin, James, Reams, Elbert "Bo", Edward (Ebbie), Viola Clayton, Allie Clayton and Geraldine Solomon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Clark (Larry) of Roxboro and Kim Woolbert (Ricky) of Roxboro; his sister Shirley Bowes of Roxboro; and his nephew Wayne Clayton. He is also survived by four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Theresa Baptist Church (3919 Chub Lake Rd, Roxboro, NC 27574). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
