He is survived by: his wife Hilda Williams Pass; his children, Mitzi Pass Short, Wendal Thomas Pass, Sr. (Deborah) of Roxboro and Tiffany Pass-Jones (Jeffrey) of Petersburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Stephen Short of Roxboro, Wynter Pass of Roxboro, Wendal Pass, III of Roxboro, Jamareyae Jones of Dinwiddie, Jalen Jones of Petersburg and Justin Jones of Petersburg; his siblings, Margie Chandler of Roxboro and Gene Pass of Roxboro; his aunts and uncles, Doreatha Paylor of Graham, Carol Torian of Cleveland, Ohio, Maxine Torian of Cleveland, Ohio, Wilbur Torian of Cleveland and Michael Torian of Beckley; his siblings-in-law, Penny Pass of Roxboro, Brinder Williams of Roxboro, Rachel Pass of Roxboro and Jack Williams (Brenda) of Roxboro; his children, James "Ed" Pass, Marvette Talley, Kathy Faye Gentry-Taylor, Donald, Debbie Johnson Boyd and Timothy Williams; and his grandchildren, Lionel, Cherylle Gentry, C. L. Bailey, Essence Bailey, Gabbie, Trevon Tapp, Lil Tim Williams, Cameron Williams, Saige, Duraya, Kourtney and Messiah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
