We are sad to announce that, on September 29, 2023, at the age of 85, Wesley VanVoorhis Long of Roxboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Collins Long, Sr. and Ivee Hall Long; his significant other Shirley Ann Hawkins Long; his brothers, Floyd Collins Long, Jr. and Walter Richard "Buck" Long; and his friend Jackie Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, Van Wesley Long (Tammy) of Roxboro and Shiree M. Long of Zebulon; his siblings, Hugh Long (Nancy) of Atmore, AL, Aaron Long of Roxboro and Jean Watts (Allen) of Roxboro; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Michelle Long and Andrew Wesley "Drew" Long.
