It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilbert Wyatt Carmichael of Roxboro, North Carolina, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wyatt Carmichael and Emma Louise Nelson Carmichael; and his wife Cathryn "Cathy" Dixon Carmichael. He is survived by: his children, Cristi Carmichael Coleman (Larry) of Durham, Wendall Carmichael (Amy) of Cedar Grove and Clayborn "Clay" Carmichael (Tara) of Roxboro; and his siblings, Roger Lee Carmichael (Libby) of Roxboro and Shelby Jean Smith (R. B.) of Roxboro. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
