He was predeceased by: his daughters, Dawn Faith Ashley and Michelle Hope Ashley; his parents, William Larry Ashley and Lucy Belle Baker Bruce; and his siblings, Thomas Edward Ashley, Robert Earl Eubanks, Kenneth Ray Eubanks and Brenda Combs.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Chambers; and his siblings, Phillip Wayne Eubanks, Alice Smith, Theresa Jones and Donna Gail Eubanks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
