She is survived by: her close friend Daniel Barnett; her daughter Nya Barnett; her mother Agnest Poole of Roxboro, NC; her siblings, Denise Hamlett (Lemuel) of Roxboro, Winston Nelson, Jr. (Dawn) of Roxboro, Tracy Nelson (Melita) of Roxboro, Shekeater Winstead (Tony) of Roxboro, Herbert Nelson of Roxboro, Shirleta Nelson of Durham, NC and Anthony Hughes (Tawauna) of Burlington, NC; her nieces and nephews, DeMarcus McGhee, Shamika Wallace (Greg), Trey Hamlett, Jamelle Nelson, Tony Winstead, Marcus Hamlett, Chris Villines (Jasmine), Nicholas Winstead, Larry Villines, Melia Nelson, Kalum Hughes and Jamari Hughes; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaden, Trey Paul, Miko, Dallas, Kennedy, Charlotte and Mase; and her uncle Ernest Nelson of Roxboro. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
