We are sad to announce that, on April 19, 2026, at the age of 79, Calvin Spangler of Ruffin, North Carolina, born in Eden, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin C. Spangler and Mildred Evans Spangler; and his sister Carolyn S. Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Wood Spangler; his children, Kevin Wayne Spangler (Stephanie) of Reidsville, Kristi S. Bray (Jamie) of Eden and Kelly S. Self (Fred) of Reidsville; his brother Tim Spangler (Julia) of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Mallorie Crouse (Luke), Aiden Self and Henleigh Bray; and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie Adkins of Eden, Mark Wood (Charlie) of Reidsville and Rita Wood Paschal (Irvin) of Reidsville. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will see friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Happy Home Church 6941 NC Hwy 700 Ruffin, NC 27326 and memorials may be made to the church.
