She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrell Dixon and Mary Elizabeth Slade Dixon. She is survived by: her sons, Bryant Parker of Ruffin, NC. and Barkely Wheeler of Ruffin, NC.; and her siblings, James Dixon of Ruffin, NC, Tonya Dixon of Pelham, NC and Valanda Dixon of Ruffin, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, two great-nieces, four great-nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of other family and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Red Hill Baptist Church (3360 Guerrant Springs Rd, Ruffin, NC 27326). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
