She was predeceased by: her parents, William Frank Long and Ruth Swain Long; her husband Leroy Hicks; her sons, Terry and Nelson Hicks; and her son-in-law Todd Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, David Hicks (Linda) and Janice Nelson; her grandchildren, Chris (Kaytee), Robert (Brittny), Derreck, Leah and Hannah (Alex); her great grandchildren, Alexis, Ariana, Sydney, Ethan, Brendon, Eli, Blake, Mason, Millie, Henry, Maggie and Harrison; and her sisters-in-law, Bonnie and Rachel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
