With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Payne Jessup (Rural Hall, North Carolina), who passed away on May 1, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beauford Lee Payne and Ruth McCraw Payne; her husband Tommy Jessup; her son Jody Jessup; her sister Shirley Gordon (Fred); and her niece Dawn Gordon.
She is survived by: her son Terry Jessup; and her siblings, Eddie Payne and Rhonda North.
