She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Cook and Lilian Honeycutt Cook; her son Scott Spann; and her grandchildren, Jayce Haverkos and Kristin Spear.
She is survived by: her close friend Jeff Tingle; her children, Tracy Estep, Shannon Michael (Cory) and Shawn Cooke (Heather); her grandchildren, Ryan Waycaster, Megan Wiles, Summer Williams (Jacob), Kelsei Cooke and Cameron Cooke; her great grandchildren, Jacob Mendez, Samuel Mendez, Jayden Spear, Midori Waycaster, Brylee Mize, Olive Waycaster, Patrick Finney, Salem Williams and Hudson Jayce Williams; her siblings, Tony "Buzz" Cooke and Peggy "Susie" Barker; and her pets, Jax and Petunia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel (305 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd, Rural Hall, NC 27045). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
