She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Willie Allen and Susan Fulk Allen; her husband Charlie Monroe Smith; and her brother Harold. She is survived by: her sons, David Smith (Jennifer) and Matthew Smith (Allison); her grandchildren, Samual Smith, Sadie Smith and Aspen Smith; her siblings, Charles (Brenda), Billy (Jean), Bobby (Pam), Jane (Wayne) and Peggy (Richard); and her caregivers, Rachel, Girlie and Emaleigh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel (305 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd, Rural Hall, NC 27045). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 5676 Old Walkertown Rd, Walkertown, NC 27051.
