He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Potts and Lucy Johnson Potts; his aunt Fannie Potts; and his brother Charles Potts. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hawks Potts; his children, Amy Patrick (Willie) and Bryan Potts (Monica); his grandchildren, Keeshon Patrick, Chandler Potts and Liza Potts; his great grandchild Brady Patrick; his cousins, Louise Rippey, Gary Hawks and Phyllis Hicks; his brother Larry; and his sister-in-law Joann Boger.
