We are sad to announce that, on April 28, 2023, at the age of 89, Mae Carter Kiger (Rural Hall, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Grover Thomas Carter; and her husband J. T. Kiger. She is survived by: her children, Gail Slate (Clifford), Donna Mabe, Johnnie Mae Marsh (Bobby), Junior Kiger (Christine) and Charles Kiger (Jennifer); and her brother Sidney Carter. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren.
