She is survived by: her husband Ray Smith; her daughter Karen Higgins (Harvey); her granddaughter Krystal Butler (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Kyara, Hoyt, Cordyn and Fortlyn.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rural Hall Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (305 Bethania-Rural Hall Rd, Rural Hall, NC 27045). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at 5696 Old Walkertown Rd, Walkertown, NC 27051.
