It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlie Marion Davis (Rural Hall, North Carolina), who passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Marion and Dotsie Heath Marion; her husband Thomas Wayne Davis, Sr.; her son Timothy Davis; and her siblings, Hassell Marion and Mary Lou Wilson.
She is survived by: her son Tommy Davis (Donna) of Rural Hall; her daughter-in-law Karen D. Davis of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Thomas W. "T. W." Davis (Jenny) of Leander, TX, Donald E. Davis of Rural Hall, Daniel A. Davis (Celeste) of Winston-Salem and Jessica D. Trivitte (Chad) of Mocksville; her great grandchildren, Thomas H. Davis, Tucker K. Trivitte, Emerson J. Davis, Ava G. Trivitte and Brayden L. Trivitte; her brother Wayne C. Marion of Winston-Salem; and her close friends, Larry and Yvonne Meador of Winston-Salem.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Home Church of Christ Cemetery Fund or King Outreach Ministries of King.
