With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Rumfelt Smith of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rumfelt and Clara Rumfelt; and her sister Diane Earley. She is survived by: her husband Don Smith; her son Randy Smith (Diane); her sister Patsy R. Wilson; and her grandchildren, Chris Smith, Brandon Smith, Ryan McGee and Michael McGee. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
