She was predeceased by: her parents, Quince Baxter Teseniar and Nellie Ruth Ward Teseniar; her husband Cecil Ward; and her sister Margie Harriger. She is survived by: her children, Denise Ward Gamble of Rutherfordton, Rob Ward (Ken) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lori Carter (Ben) of Clarksville, Georgia and De De Ward Fowler of Spindale. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
