He was predeceased by: his wife Christine "Doodle" Smith Lowry; and his brother Wade Hampton Lowry, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC.. He is survived by: his children, Christina Lowry Morgan and Britton Brinkley Lowry; and his grandchildren, Wade, Allen Morgan and Jessah Lowry.
