He is survived by: his siblings, Margie M. Younger of Rutherfordton, Rosa Lee M. Owens of Rutherfordton, Nancy L. Greene, Ileen Evans of Ellenboro, Martha M. Sanford of Hammett Grove, SC, John H. McMurry and James T. McMurry. He is also survived by many extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
