It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine H. Thompson of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, born in Macon, North Carolina, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Perley Hyde and Nettie Hyde; and her husband Harold Thompson. She is survived by : her sons, Dr. William "Bill" Thompson (Vickie) of Rutherfordton, NC and Chris Thompson (Vickie) of Wilmington, NC.; her grandchild Courtney Bullard (Kyle); her great grandchild McKenzie; and her grandchildren, Will Thompson (Rachel), Drew Thompson and Bryce Thompson (Maggie).
