He is survived by: his wife Kathy Bridges Owens; his sons, Clyde Junior Owens and Tracy Owens (Crystal); his grandchildren, Morgan, Ashley, Brooke (Adam), Brian, Dylan and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Marianna, Jentrie, Judson, Emma, Kendell, Braylen and Braxton; his sisters, Marie Ingle (Ricky), Brenda Thompson and Trish Fumi (Larry); and his children, Ryver and Charlie Morrow.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McMahan's Funeral Home (249 S Main St, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church (301 Deviney St, Spindale, NC 28160). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church Cemetery (301 Deviney St, Spindale, NC 28160).

Memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
