He was predeceased by: his parents, James Curtis Hutchins and Ina Jane Freeman Hutchins; his wife Betty Ware Hutchins; his son Ralph Hutchins; and his brothers, James Hutchins, Marvin Hutchins, Jack Hutchins and Wilbert Hutchins.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Hutchins Clark (Alan) of Asheville, NC, Joe Hutchins (Kathy) of Rutherfordton and Boyd Hutchins (Amy) of Rutherfordton; and his brother Rev. George Hutchins (Rose Mary).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brittain Presbyterian Church (3456 US-64, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the same location.
