He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hugh Patterson and Frances Fowler Patterson; and his son Joey Lee Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Couch Patterson; and his son Ricky Patterson (Linda). He is also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
