He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Stott and Frances Barnett Stott; his sister Betty Jean Sonnack; his son Jeff Stott; and his grandson Adam Stott.
He is survived by: his son Jon Stott (Nanci); his grandchildren, Christina McSwain (Emmanuel), Ashley Stott, Anthony Stott, Caitie Porter (Casey) and Emma Stott; and his siblings, J. L. Stott (Kay), Preston Stott and Nancy Bradley. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
