With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Oscar Stofer of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, who passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Stofer and Mattie Haynes Stofer; and his brother Mike Stofer. He is survived by : his wife Patsy Stofer; his children, Mary Stofer Guffey (Cameron Bradley), Sammy Dean Stofer (Anita) and Kevin Ray Stofer (Priscilla); and his stepchildren, Kathy of Washington and James Douglas Kirby. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
