Kathy Klassen Obituary

We announce the death of Kathy Klassen of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 75. Kathy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Hoyle and Pauline Pettit; her husband Marv Klassen; and her brothers, Joe and David Hoyle.

She is survived by: her sons, Joe Klassen (Robin) of Rutherfordton and Johnny Klassen of Forest City; her sisters, Christie Snyder (Robert) of Forest City and Melissa Aspinall (Dwayne) of Prince Frederick, Maryland; and her grandchildren, Alexander Klassen, Lincoln Klassen and Alyssa Klassen.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church (301 Deviney St, Spindale, NC 28160). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at the Eternal Hills Memorial Park (1565 Oakland Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
