She was predeceased by : her parents, Grady "Shorty" Thomas and Mamie McCombs Thomas; her husband Terry Norman; and her siblings, Sheila Horn, Barbara Earles and Guido Simpson.

She is survived by : her son Shawn Norman (Tammy) of Forest City; her sister Teresa Walters (Jim); her grandson Shane Gilbert; her great grandchild Lucas Gilbert; and her sister-in-law Linda Jay.
