He is survived by: his father Buford Williams (Elaine) of North Wilkesboro; his wife Diane Williams; his children, Tyler Williams of Vale and Stephanie Worley (John) of Belmont; his stepchildren, Gary Hill of Rutherfordton and Melinda Hodge (Drew) of Rutherfordton; his grandchildren, Peyton Williams, Sadie, Jacob Worley and Jennifer Short of Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Madalie and Mason; and his siblings, Billy Williams of Vale, Nathan Williams (Carol) of Vale, Priscilla Bess of Vale and Audrey Leatherman (Eric) of Vale. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Beam Funeral Home (2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752).
